Wedge Form Tie

Functionality

A Wedge Tie is used to hold concrete formwork in place while concrete is being poured. Placing the tie between the forming planks help accurately space the form. In conjunction with the tie, a metal wedge is used to keep the forms in place. These ties are specially designed for low foundation applications no taller than 4′ high. In the middle of the tie is a “V”-shaped indent to provide for more rigidity when spacing. Made from 18g Galvanized Steel, these ties are resistant to corrosion.
